Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Workspace data: your Slack workspace ID, workspace name, and the bot token Slack issues on install (stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM).
• Poll data: questions, options, settings, and votes created through the app.
• Anonymous votes: we store anonymous votes under a one-way keyed hash, not the voter's identity, and do not reveal who voted — neither can your workspace admins.
• Billing: handled by Dodo Payments (merchant of record). We never see or store card details.

What we don't collect

• We do not read channel messages. The app receives only the commands you invoke and the buttons you click.
• We do not collect member lists, emails, or profile data. Voter names in non-anonymous polls are rendered by Slack from user IDs.
• No advertising, no analytics resale, no data sharing beyond the processors named here.

Where data lives

Data is stored in a Postgres database (Neon) hosted via Vercel infrastructure. Backups and encryption at rest follow the providers' standards.

Retention & deletion

When you uninstall FlatPoll, or if we discontinue the app, we automatically and permanently delete your workspace's data — the stored bot token, and all polls and votes — within 14 business days. You can also email hello@zentez.io from an admin address to request immediate deletion.
